Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on August 9 1976 the oldest child of four. The parents of Audrey Tautou who was both dentists and a teacher, recognized and encouraged their daughter's love for acting and drama on an early stage. The support they provided was more than enough to thwart her initial ambition to be a the first primatologist. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity was a sign of her development as an actor. Following her studies in 1998 she took part in an French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning the journey to become an actor. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she has since gotten rid of these upbringings. Along with her acting career she also pursued a modeling career.
